Andy Cohen reacts to Ramona Singer leaving ‘RHONY’

Andy Cohen called out the hypocrisy of some Bravo fans after Ramona Singer announced that she was leaving “New York Housewives” after the 13th season of the show.

The Bravo boss finally addressed Singer’s exit on his Sirius XM radio show, “Radio Andy,” on Wednesday, saying “people saw it coming.”

“Interesting, [it’s] it’s one of those internet jokes, that is, every time it’s mentioned, ‘Please, no Ramona.’ He goes on Twitter, ‘Get rid of Ramona!’” Cohen joked.

“But the second Ramona announces that she’s going, ‘Nooo, Ramona’s a legend!’ Like, it’s so fun. It’s so funny.”

Cohen, 54, went on to praise Singer, 65, for giving the franchise so many years of “wonderful television” – before suggesting that his exit seemed a little shady.

“I had a great conversation with him about this a few weeks ago and he was — I think he’s very interested in what he’s going on with in his life right now,” she continued. “I’ll leave it there.”

However, other sources told us that the network did not give him the opportunity to join the series “Legacy” – a reason that could be the reason for Cohen’s doubts about his exit.

The singer continued his conversation by joking that the show should be called “‘The Loss Show'” or “‘Legacy of Loss.'”

Although the official cast list has not yet been revealed, the new Bravo series will include fan-favorite “RHONY” alums — such as Jill Zarin and Kelly Bensimon — as well as some newcomers.
