| Entertainment, Dance, Comedy at The MAIN in December

Hustle photo 1Kick off the holiday season in style by attending a variety of exhibits and entertainment opportunities at MAIN, 24266 Main St., Newhall, CA 91321, this December. From monthly 10 by 10 different nights, to dance performances, to comedy and art, MAIN is the place to get into the holiday spirit.

The month starts on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 7 pm, and 10 free returns on 10 different nights. Attendees will be presented with 10 entertainers who will each put on a 10-minute performance of their choice. Audiences can be treated to storytelling, magic, improvisation, music and other forms of entertainment – no two months are the same!

Friday, Dec. 2 at 8 p.m., head to Old Town Newhall for a break from holiday shopping and experience “Walking the MAIN: Enjoying the Holidays”. This evening of dance features LA Hustle and Movement, the premier Hustle dance event in Los Angeles. The show features a diverse cast of dancers performing a variety of dance styles. General admission is $20 and student admission (with ID) is $15. Purchase a VIP experience for $30 and receive prime seating, a delicious non-alcoholic holiday drink and a special dance lesson to learn the basics of Hustle.

The Community Warriors Group returns to MAIN Community Development on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 8pm and then you already have an idea of ​​the funny, energetic show that the group will play.

Theater in the Week is back with a special holiday edition – “Holiday Holidays” – on MAIN December 9-11. Theater of the Week has another comedy written by Barry Agin, this time featuring hijinks and madcap fun perfect for the holidays. Finally, experience a deeper connection with art when you attend an art reception for “Preserved Memories,” the latest exhibit on display in the MAIN lobby. This installation shows how dementia affects identity and the human fabric. Join artist Aazam Irilian for an evening of connection at MAIN on Thursday, December 15 from 7 to 10 pm This free reception allows the public to meet the artist, see the art and share their stories about what dementia has been like. it affected their family. “Memories Saved” airs on MAIN from Dec. 6. 2022, to Jan. 7, 2023.
