Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker reunited on the red carpet for The Walking Dead Finale.

After playing siblings on screen, Daryl and Merle Dixon are on The Walking Dead, Norman Reedus, and Michael Rooker reunited on the red carpet for the screening of the series finale. The event, which was held at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles on November 20, saw the actors show their love and admiration for each other, to the delight of fans everywhere.
Speaking to the media, Michael Rooker said that Norman Reedus is his favorite person in the world. “I love this man,” she said in an interview. “We’ve been hanging out for a long time and I love him.” The small union ended as the pair hugged it out. Other Red Carpet highlights saw current and past members of The Walking Dead gather to celebrate the show.
The fans were sitting far away and could be heard cheering with the names of their favorite players, who spoke about how they felt. When asked about his upcoming spinoff about Daryl Dixon he told Vaety that it is very different in tone. “The sound is different. There are many French people,” he said. The actor also said that they will shoot like crazy. “It’s very important in scale, but it’s a singular and very poetic vision.”
Unfortunately, Norman Reedus will not be reuniting with Michael Rooker in the drama Daryl and Carol spinoff because his on-screen brother did not survive the series. The zombified Merle was put down by Daryl after the Governor killed him in the episode called “This Life Is Sad.” Although the couple appeared together only on a small hand Walking dead episodes, like the Dixon brothers, are bound for life.
A few years ago, the two appeared in an episode of Ride that saw the fictional brothers explore the historic city of Birmingham Alabama. They also had fun in Atlanta before coming to Senoia Walking dead reunion. Along with Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker, the unscripted series also featured appearances by Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Melissa McBride on a trip through Scotland, ComicBook reports.
Meanwhile, the last series of The Walking Dead brought in the largest single-day audience in nearly two years. According to The Hollywood Reporter, star actor Norman Reedus drew 2.27 million viewers for the final episode. Although it may be shy of its mid-2010s score, it was still the biggest number since February 2021, ushering in the “beginning” of the silly show’s end.
The Walking Dead The end rose 66% above the one-day average in the last excrete of episodes this fall. It’s also up about 37% above its 11-season average. Additionally, the episode’s 0.66 rating among adults 18-49 is also the show’s best since February 28, 2021. Now that the flagship series is over, fans can look forward to Daryl and Carol created by Angela Kang and Scott M. Gimple. The story will star Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride as Daryl and Carol.
