After evaluating over 20 different condominium properties across the US, we found SL to be the best and best fit for our needs by checking all of our boxes. By light rail you can reach the U in 10 minutes. It is located in town and within walking distance of attractions, restaurants and shops. This part of town and the underground parking lot are safer than any other I’ve seen. The management staff at SL are a pleasure to work with and very attentive to our needs in welcoming us to stay here. Many thanks to Amanda and Logan. The apartment we’re staying in is absolutely gorgeous and we can’t wait to take advantage of all the amenities SL has to offer, the private pool and hot tub with a 360 degree view of the city . I think living here will be pleasant and relaxing and I look forward to meeting our new neighbors.
Overall, we had a great experience at Soo Line. They are in excellent condition, the location is good and the equipment is well maintained. And unlike some previous reviews, the management is always pleasant and responsive. It’s nice to have a nice restaurant downstairs, Peloton bikes in the gym, a luxury bed on the 20th floor, and a year-round pool. The first problem, however, is the noise. The floors and walls here are thin which means you will love your neighbors. When you have good neighbors it is good, but when you have bad neighbors. . . If quiet is something you value and if you don’t run the risk of hearing your neighbors’ parties or their music on the ceiling, then you should think twice. The second problem is traffic. Residents use lot 517 Marquette next door. The garages in the center are poorly maintained and subject to all kinds of abuse. My car window was cracked and damaged, and the Nextdoor posts proved I wasn’t alone. These things happen and I don’t blame So Line. But if you have a car, you should know that it will go to a small car before it is good.
The Soo line is great. I had a few hitches during the move, but everything went to help with the job. Everyone was very helpful in the office and at the concierge desk. The app they have is great. You can make service requests, receive notifications, and post on the virtual community bulletin board. I like that I can’t hear my upstairs neighbors (I can hear my neighbors on both sides, but they are quiet most of the time). The connection with the Skyway is very good. I was nervous about moving downtown, but so far my experience on the Soo Line has been better than expected.
Best Building For People Who Don’t Own Cars
The location of the Soo Line is good. Easy access to light rail and bus routes, downtown restaurants and indoor sky access, all in one neighborhood. I was able to take public transportation to work and walk to the store even in the winter. Also great…indoor pool and hot tub, outdoor pool and fitness center. I thought the management was friendly and the service was quick to all needs. I didn’t experience any noise problems and the neighbors were pleasant. I highly recommend this place. The only negative I can think of is the price of a garage in the basement, although I have not used the garage so I can’t speak to the value of the garage.
Although they are beautiful, renovated and in a good location, I can’t honestly say that my experience was good. The management, especially Troy who was in charge, came out of a dream. You can
